Making A Purchase
As well as online purchasing, we accept orders on the toy phone 0870 760 7217 and by post at the address below.

CREDIT CARD:
Either enter your credit card details online using our secure servers and Worldpay, or call us on 0870 760 7217 to pay by credit card.

PAYPAL
You can now pay using you PayPal account. This means you don't have to input your credit card details into our secure services and you can pay via your bank account if you have this set up with Paypal.

CHEQUE:
To order by post simply add items to your shopping basket but do not checkout. Instead print out the page and post to us together with your cheque. Or you can simply list the name and colour of the products you would like to purchase, and include a cheque made payable to 'Toys to You Ltd', not forgetting to add the appropriate postage and packaging fee (see below). Send the above, along with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address where applicable to the following address;

In the UK our goods are dispatched via Royal Mail First Class Post or using couriers, for the rest of the world we use surface mail, or airmail.

Call us on 01273 359549 quoting the name and colour of the products you would like to puchase. You will be asked for your credit card details, name address and phone number. Or you can be invoiced for your order or pay by cheque having ordered over the phone.

Trade Descriptions Act
Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions and photography are accurate but slight variations in size, design or colour may occur, particularly as many of our products are handmade. All sizes are approximate.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery Schedule
We process your order right away. We aim to ship all items within 7 working days but to countries outside the UK delivery may take up to 28 days.

To allow us to keep our prices down so that you, the customer, benefits we do not hold huge amounts of stock. Also, as we are an ethical toy retailer we have made the decision not to buy toys in bulk. We believe that if we buy toys in bulk then we are encouraging companies to mass produce toys that may not be recycled should stocks not be sold.
Therefore, when you place an order for a toy with us we often then place the order with our suppliers. Hence we advise that toys can take up to 7 days to be delivered.
We hope you understand our reasons for this.

Check each individual toys for information on normal delivery times. These are, however, simply guidelines. We cannot guarantee that items will be delivered within the suggested timeframe as delays do occur please allow 28 days at busy times in the unlikely event of an item being out of stock.
Availability is only guaranteed whilst stocks last.

We will keep you updated at all times on despatch dates or estimated despatch dates if your item is on back order.
Back Orders
If when you place an order the item is out of stock, we can place it on back order for you and deliver it to you when it becomes available again.
We will endeavour to provide you with regular progress reports.

WORLDPAY SECURITY STATEMENT
Security is probably one of the most significant concerns for both the consumer and the retailer during an on-line transaction. In reality an on-line transaction is probably more secure than a card transaction in a shop or conducted over the telephone or by fax. All communication between the retailer and WorldPay, including the details of the purchase, are encapsulated using our own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol; this uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and
tamper-proof.

Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banks themselves. We ensure that we stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code we use, and continually review our own proprietary code, using current best practice at all times.

The cardholder is further protected:
Card issuers protect cardholders from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, such as over the Internet or telephone. As the shopper did not sign for the goods they have the absolute right to demand a chargeback if those goods did not arrive or the card was used fraudulently.

Toys to You now also used Paypal, a well known and respected company to provide a secure environment for your transaction.
If you are concerned about entering your credit card details online, please use Paypal where your payment is made through the Paypal website where you don't have to input your credit card details again. Using Paypal can also mean you can make payments directly from your bank account if you have set up bank payments with Paypal.

Out of Stock
In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, to avoid your disappointment we will offer you a replacement item by email or telephone to avoid your disappointment. Or we will give you to opportunity to choose something else. If we cannot reach you via email or telephone we will go ahead and choose a replacement item for you. If we replace an item for you it will be of the same value and a similar item. We take great care when choosing replacement items. The replacement item will be of the same value

Safety
All our toys comply with EC Toy Safety regulations and, where appropriate, carry the CE mark. Some items are not recommended for children under 3 as they contain small parts but many would be very suitable for a bright 2 year old.
Wherever possible we give age recommendations but please use them as a guide, not in place of your own judgement. Do phone us if you have any questions.

Remittance Terms
HOW TO PAY YOUR INVOICE
We offer 30 days terms on all invoices from the date on the invoice.
However, if your invoice is not paid within this time frame we reserve the right to charge a 5% late fee.
This late fee will be calculated at 5% per week your invoice is overdue.
